I love the book and I'm so pleased to see something so child-likeable and innocent for six to nine year olds to read. I'm so glad I took a chance on Ren Benton's Ten Thousand Hours. This wonderful book on Poland is perfect for introducing small children to the geography, history and extensive culture of Poland. I read it through my library quite awhile ago and have not been able to forget it. Since Zakaria is in fact one of such people and these do no harm to the general insights contained in the book, perhaps I should not overly critical.
